A highly recommended 8-day safari staying in exclusive smaller safari camps offering comfortable accommodation located in private wilderness conservancies. Accommodation is in three camps that complement each other perfectly - staying first at Amboseli Porini Camp in the Selenkay Conservancy, then Porini Rhino Camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, followed by Mara Porini Camp in the Masai Mara reserve or Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Orok Conservancy adjacent to the Mara Reserve. The Safari Camps are small and exclusive and run on the same environmentally sound principles - working closely with the local communities. All camps are specially designed to have minimum impact with no permanent structures.

Day 1:
Jambo and Karibu to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to your Nairobi city hotel. Nairobi has several hotels of international standard and numerous restaurants; with all manner of ethnic and European cuisine available. Three excellent museums, offer insight into the fauna, culture and history of Kenya. This afternoon you relax and acclimatize with your new surroundings or explore the area by participating on the many available excursions before your overnight at the hotel. The Sarova Stanley hotel- bed & breakfast.
Day 2:
Depart Nairobi by safari minibus to Amboseli Porini Camp (a 3 hour journey of 102 miles), arriving at Porini Camp before lunch. Following afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk by Maasai warriors to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Then take a game drive in the conservancy followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro. Night game driveand return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:
Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing. Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4:
Early breakfast and then drive through Amboseli park to the airstrip for the 0945 Safarilink flight to Wilson, connecting onto the 1020 flight to Nanyuki, arriving at 1240. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicle. Return to Porini Rhino Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5:
Full day in Ol Pejeta with game drives and walking activities from camp. Overnight at Porini Rhino Camp.
Day 6:
Depart Porini Rhino Camp and fly from Nanyuki on the 09.45 Safarilink flight to Mara arriving at 11.00. You will be met and transferred to Porini Lion Camp. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then go on a game drive or escorted walk followed by a sundowner and night drive with spotlight. Return to Porini Lion Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7:
Full day in the Maasai Mara National Park with picnic lunch. Overnight Porini Lion Camp.
Day 8:
Final early morning game drives and then depart on the 11.00 Safari link flight to Wilson arriving back to Nairobi at 12.15. On arrival transfer to your Nairobi city center hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for return flight home.
